More About Zac Hosler’s Aquaponics Farm:
Zac Hosler is a commercial aquaponic farmer in Captain Cook on the Big Island of Hawaii. He earns his living by growing aquaponic produce in commercial aquaponic systems of our design. The links to articles a little further on in this page will give you straightforward numbers for how much Zac works, and how much money he makes from his commercial aquaponic farm.
(Above) Susanne pointing out Zac’s sloped grading; on this site, with solid rock (rock, as in “one big one”, not “rocks”) 3 inches down, this saved him tens of thousands of dollars.
The following are links to articles we’ve published since 2012, detailing Zac’s story. If you want to know what it’s like starting and running a commercial aquaponics farm, you couldn’t have a more realistic or honest assessment than what is written here:

You can email Zac if you wish to confirm any of this information. (Compare this to the meager or nonexistent contact information on other “aquaponics consultant’s and teacher’s” sites for people using their technology; they don’t WANT you to contact them!).
