We just made Home Aquaponics The EASY Way a FREE download!
Because of the world corona virus situation, we just made our bread-and-butter product, the E-Book “Aquaponics The EASY Way”, a free download.
It describes how to build small aquaponics systems for indoors or outdoors, and start growing at least some of your food, while you develop the knowledge, confidence, and experience to do so, that will endure the rest of your life!
Wouldn’t it be nice to grow your own food, in your own home, especially if it was organic and fresher than anything you can buy in the store?
Read on, because there’s an EASY answer. With an EASY Way system, you can learn aquaponics in the comfort of your own home, and grow the freshest and healthiest food on the planet!
Want to grow more food than a small EASY Way system can? Learn with an EASY Way system, then build a bigger system right away, such as our Micro System, or our Commercial System ! They all use the same economical and productive aquaponics technology, developed over our 12 years of commercial aquaponic farming.
(To the left) A 12 square foot EASY way system from this book, with a 64 square foot Micro System in the background (that’s covered in another book, sold here. If you buy our Micro System book for $49.95, you ALSO get this EASY Way book for FREE!).
It’s easy to grow food if you’ve got a couple of acres in the country: dig up the dirt, mix in compost, plant seeds, and weed away until harvest time! But if you live in the city or the suburbs, especially in a rental house, your choices are more limited (call the landlord and ask if you can dig up the backyard for a garden, LOL!).
Fortunately, there’s a method of growing food called aquaponics, that is organic, is easy to do, doesn’t involve soil or digging up your landlord’s yard, doesn’t involve ANY weeding (!) and produces 10 times as much food in the same space as growing in the soil. You can do it on your kitchen counter in your convenience apartment, or in the backyard of your 7,500 square foot suburban lot.
But when you try to learn about aquaponics, it’s easy to become confused by all the conflicting information on the internet. Or mixed up by watching ten different videos on YouTube by “experts” who all contradict each other. If you’re just beginning, how do you figure out which way is the right one? Who do you trust? Where do you buy your aquaponic equipment, and what do you buy?
We’ve got a simple, clear answer for you:
We’re experts in aquaponics because we’ve been commercially farming with aquaponics since 2007. And we’re not the only ones who think we’re experts. Thousands of people have come to the Commercial Aquaponics Trainings we’ve held since 2008, and purchased our Commercial Aquaponics DIY package. All those people voted with their precious time and money that we were the experts they wanted to learn aquaponics from.
We were the first farm in the world to get USDA Certified Organic in 2008, the first to get GAP Food Safety Certification in 2009, and we’ve farmed ever since then. We’re farmers. We make our living from growing and selling vegetables and fish, not from selling equipment.
That means we’re completely objective about what equipment works and what doesn’t, because we don’t make any money from selling stuff. We only make money if the information we offer is the best available. This also means that we can recommend the most economical equipment and ways to do aquaponics FOR YOU, because your success is our success!
This is the first aquaponics book that helps you DO home aquaponics easily and affordably! And in its 225 pages, it’s got more useful information than we got in that first “commercial aquaponics course” we took in 2007 for $2,500.
It’s also the first “coffee-table” aquaponics book; the printed version is beautiful and will be an awesome addition to any library!

How To Do Aquaponics the EASY Way shows you how to build the most affordable, best-working small systems from locally available materials. More importantly, it includes the best information on how to operate these small home aquaponics systems, so you get the most food out of even a tiny system! With this book, it really IS “Easy”, and you can do it!
Aquaponics The EASY Way! (The printed version is shown above). It’s the first full color aquaponics book and the best practical guide to your own system at the same time!
How To Do Aquaponics the EASY Way makes home aquaponics ten times more affordable and accessible than any of the expensive “kits”. This is because you simply purchase the parts for your system at your local Home Depot, Lowe’s, or other building supply store. In addition, a few bits of equipment will need to be purchased from an aquarium store such as PetCo, or the pet section of WalMart. But it only costs a fraction as much money as the expensive kits!
With these home aquaponics systems, you can EASILY grow food anywhere. On your porch, in your spare room, on your kitchen counter, or even in an unused closet! And it’s not just for “country folks”. There’s a whole chapter on how to grow using artificial lighting. This means you “city folks” can grow food inside your apartment or condo, even with no balcony. If you do have a yard or an outdoor space you can use, you can easily graduate from this size of aquaponics system to a backyard system.

Kids love these small, home aquaponics systems! Here are two of our kids, with a 3.5 square foot system setup outdoors. This is just one of the three standard systems for which detailed plans and materials lists are included, in “How To Do Aquaponics the EASY Way”.
The book includes new and easy-to-understand building instructions and complete operating information for small home aquaponics systems based on our years of experience operating a commercial aquaponics farm. Anyone can build a system from plastic barrels, but operating one without good and easily-understood information can be frustrating. You simply use the checklist and follow the step-by-step instructions in this book, on your way to success with aquaponics.
You can simply follow the instructions in the book and have a productive home aquaponics system without needing to understand why it works; just the way you can drive a car without having to know how to repair the engine. But, if you want to understand why your aquaponics system works and what is going on in it, there is a complete explanation of all the system processes and chemistry included in the book (written in easily-understood language) to give you a much deeper knowledge.
Teachers and School Administrators: Please contact us directly for a free evaluation copy of the PRINTED version of this book, if you have questions about bulk purchases of this book to use as an aquaponics textbook. We will make you a great deal! We want to see this good information in the hands of students and teachers.
These are the materials for the 3.5 square foot Aquaponics System. Simple, yeah?
Many small aquaponics “kits” are offered on the internet and elsewhere that are similar in size to these systems. They do not come with instructions written by someone who runs aquaponics systems for a living as ours do. These expensive “kits” are made from standard tanks and parts marked-up several times which then have shipping tacked on. Our systems are built from economical materials and components, most of which you buy locally.
Indoors: This book is the perfect aquaponics how-to reference for anyone who is limited to growing indoors, or for those who only have limited space outdoors. These systems are perfect for getting your fingers wet in aquaponics without spending a lot (pun intended!). They can easily be set up inside a garage or outbuilding, inside a spare room, or even a closet. You can use them for the centerpiece of a living room or family room to show off to your friends. Best of all, they produce food! If you have light and heat you can grow vegetables and fish!
Schools: These systems are perfect for schools because of their low cost and the easily-understood instructions and plans for construction and operation that come with the package. They are so affordable and understandable that a sixth-grader can easily use one as a science class or science fair project. They are small enough to be easily and affordably operated indoors in cold weather climates and lighted with artificial lighting (instructions included).
This 225-page book has a TON of information, and hundreds of photos showing you how to build these small home aquaponics systems and operate them. There are sections on aquaponics history, water chemistry and quality, biological processes happening in your system, all the different life forms that may show up in your system, construction, an operations manual, seed germination and seed saving, tools and materials tutorials, indoor lighting instructions, a “How do I find the right part in the hardware store” section, pages of results of our first “test” planting with 135 varieties of vegetables, and complete materials lists for the three different standard sizes of small home aquaponics systems. Most of these materials are procured locally, with a few items coming from Aquatic EcoSystems in Florida or other aquarium suppliers.
We took a few months out of our lives to write this manual because we wanted to make aquaponics and growing your own food accessible and affordable for everyone, everywhere.
